Since then, we have grained aluminum plates for customers worldwide.
Each plate grained at our facility has been visually inspected for consistency.
About The Finish of Ball Grained Aluminum Litho Plates
We offer a standard medium finished ball grained aluminum litho plate that is .015" thick.
This finish is suitable for the majority of aluminum plate litho techniques. Educators of lithography, professional litho studio, and private print shops find this medium finish to be the most versatile.Non-standard finishes are available but must be purchased in whole batch quantities.

Extra fine, fine, coarse and extra coarse plate finishes must be ordered in whole batch quantities. These quantities are dependant on the plate size.

Standard ball grained litho plate is .015" thick..015" thick ball grained aluminum litho plate is used for student applications, professional studios as well as the private shop.

.025" thick ball grained aluminum litho plate is more durable than .015" and can provide a high number of runs from each plate.
.012" thick Ball Grained Litho plate is temporarily unavailable.
Due to the circumstances in the aluminum industry we have had difficulty obtaining high quality aluminum sheet material in the .012" thick gauge used in manufacturing the ball grained aluminum litho plates. To ensure our customers a reliable product Takach Press will discontinue current production of .012" thick gauge ball grained aluminum plate at this time and supply .015" thick plate as the standard plate.About Custom Dimension Ball Grained Litho Plate
