In 1975 Dave Takach Sr. was asked to design and build a printer friendly press, a press that would eliminate many of the negative features used in past designs. Takach Press now offers a complete line of presses, considered to be the finest presses available.
The printing press is clearly the most important piece of equipment to the printmaker. All other items are necessary but secondary to the printing press. Our goal is to make Takach Press your one stop center for all of your printing equipment and supplies.
We strive to keep abreast of the ever changing printing techniques, in order to supply you with products of only the highest quality at reasonable prices. We are able to do this because of you, our most valuable resource. Your invaluable input helps us to keep our catalog up to date with today's printmaking techniques.
