Our Felt Blankets are of a very high quality 100% wool. A set of blankets consists of a sizing catcher, a pusher, and a cushion. However, it is advisable to have an extra sizing catcher since this blanket does become soiled and must be occasionally washed in Woolite. The Sizing Catcher is placed next to the work on the press bed. This felt is 100% wool and 1/16” thick. The Pusher Blanket is 1/8” thick, 100% wool woven felt. This blanket is furnished as a woven material since it must stand up to the abrasive action of the upper roller of the press. It is placed over the cushion blanket. The Cushion Blanket is also 100% wool. It is placed over the Sizing Catcher and measures a full 1/4” thick.
